Refund and Return Policy

How a purchase can be refunded depends on how it was paid, and every listing shows which kind it is before you buy.

Kash Pay orders

These are orders paid by card at checkout. The money moved through our payment processor, so we can move it back:

• Open a return from the Returns page in your dashboard. The seller reviews the request, and once the seller confirms they have the item back and issues the refund, the money moves. If a seller confirms receipt but does not issue the refund within 5 days, open a support ticket and Kash will review and can refund the order directly.
• Refunds go to the original payment method, always for the full order amount. Once issued, banks typically post it within 5 to 10 business days.
• If an order from a cart with several sellers is refunded, only that seller's part of the payment is refunded; your other orders are not affected.
• When a refund is issued, the order's invoice is voided and you are notified in the app and by email.
• If a seller is unresponsive or you believe you were deceived, open a support ticket from your dashboard. Our team can review the order and issue refunds directly where that is warranted.

If you are considering a chargeback with your card issuer, contact us first. We can usually resolve the problem faster than the chargeback process can.

Direct payment listings

Listings marked "Direct payment" are settled between buyer and seller, in cash or by whatever method they agree on. Kash never holds that money, so Kash cannot refund it. Any return or refund is between you and the other party. Protect yourself the way you would with any classified ad: inspect the item before paying, meet somewhere public, and be suspicious of anyone who will not do either. If a user behaves fraudulently, report the listing so we can act on the account.

Seller plans and subscriptions

• Paid seller plans can be cancelled any time and remain active until the end of the paid period. We do not prorate partial months.
• Final sale fees on orders that completed normally are not refundable. When an order is refunded to the buyer, the fee on that order is cancelled with it, and any referral commission on the fee is voided.

Sellers and refunds

When a Kash Pay order is refunded, the amount that was forwarded to the seller is reclaimed from the seller's payout account. Sellers agree to this as part of offering Kash Pay checkout.
